Bradford Johnson
Bradford Johnson has been painting now for nearly three decades, exhibiting in both solo and group exhibitions and garnering acknowledgements and awards from such prestigious organizations as the Pollock-Krasner Foundation and repeated fellowships at the MacDowell & Yaddo Artist Colonies.
His paintings are built-up like the layers of human engagement with a place. They contain artifacts bearing evidence of our consumption and trade, myth and ritual, and even restoration. Underneath his work lays religious and humanistic themes.
